Major General (res.) Uzi Dayan presented his new party during a press conference he convened on Sunday morning.
Dayan said that the party - titled Tafnit (shift) - placed corruption on the top of its agenda. The former IDF deputy chief of staff said he would propose legislating a five-year minimum sentence on public servants convicted of corruption-related charges.
Dayan called Ariel Sharon the "father of all corruption".
