Dekel heads to Cairo to set agenda for renewed Schalit negotiations

Ofer Dekel, Israel's chief negotiator on the prisoner issue, was set to head to Cairo on Thursday in order to meet with Egyptian Intelligence chief Omar Suleiman and set an agenda for the resumption of talks with Hamas over the release of captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit. In the next few days, Israeli and Hamas representatives were expected to hold a series of separate meetings with Suleiman to advance a prisoner swap deal.
