Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter reiterated on Thursday that Prisons Service chief Yaakov Genot would become the next Israel Police commissioner.
"In a democratic country everyone understands that there are organizations that make appointments and those that approve them, but in the end, Genot will sit on the throne of the Israel Police commissioner," said Dichter at the end of an Israel Prisons Service ceremony.
