Dichter: Turn Beit Hanoun into a 'ghost town'

Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter said in Sunday's cabinet meeting that the IDF must do everything possible to stop Kassam rocket fire on Israel, even if it means "turning Beit Hanun into a ghost town," Dichter announced. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said "We have strong means in our arsenal, but sometimes international considerations limit their effectiveness. It's not worth harming civilians. Therefore, the fight against terror comprises several things. What is appropriate and when should be carefully considered."
