Public Security Minister Avi Dichter rejected a proposal by Environment Minister Gideon Ezra to free jailed Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, Israel Radio reported on Wednesday morning.
"When Barghouti finishes serving the five life sentences imposed on him, he'll still have 30 years in left in prison," Dichter said. "Only then will it be possible to discuss freeing him."
