Driver arrested in Petah Tikva hit-and-run case; victim's name released

The driver of the car in the hit-and-run accident that killed an 81-year-old Petah Tikva resident on Thursday night was arrested and had her remand extended on Friday. The Netanya Magistrate's Court added five days to the remand of Sarit Tuv, 31, whose car was found at a friend's house in Petah Tikva, sporting blood stains. The victim, a pedestrian, was identified as Leonid Bernitsky.
