Four teenagers were due to be indicted Thursday in the Acre Magistrate's Court on suspicion of attacking a police officer in Nahariya while drunk.
The officer was reportedly walking his dog Wednesday evening when the teens approached him and asked to use his cellular phone. They then allegedly surrounded him, beat him, let his dog off the leash and used it to whip the officer.
During the attack, the officer told them he was a policeman, but the attackers, police said later, did not desist.
