Egged workers in Beersheba have filed complaint to police against the director of their branch and other senior officials claiming that they forced the employees to join Kadima in exchange for benefits from Transposition Minister and Kadima leadership contender Shaul Mofaz, police said Monday. Mofaz's associates denied the claim and Egged stated that it was not involved in the primary process. The bus company said that to the best of its knowledge, none of its management staff signed up any employee to the party and that if it was discovered that someone acted inappropriately, he would be brought to justice. Beersheba Police completed its inquiry into the allegations and the findings have been handed to the State Attorney's Office.
