Eight Jerusalem Arab teens held for firebomb attacks

Eight Arab teens from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya were arrested for allegedly repeatedly hurling firebombs at Israeli motorists and at the parking lot of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on Mount Scopus over the last couple months, police said Thursday. The eight suspects, who were apprehended in recent weeks, belonged to a local cell of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a small Palestinian terror organization, and carried out their late-night attacks using masks to hide their identity, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. According to police, the eight suspects will be indicted in coming weeks.
