Eilat beaches closed for bathing due to sewage leak

The Interior Ministry declared all Eilat beaches off-limits for bathing late Friday night after raw sewage began leaking into the Red Sea.
Earlier, the city's sewage system burst in two places - near the Eilat port, and in the city's northern sector. The cause of the leaks was unknown.
