Pensioners Party chairman Rafi Eitan lightly shoved a party activist at the faction meeting on Tuesday after she opposed the party's dismissal of MK Moshe Sharoni, saying the party was working against pensioners.
The activist, Rachel Azaria from Haifa, said that if Eitan did not apologize for his actions, she would file a complaint with the Knesset Ethics Committee.
Sharoni told Israel Radio on Tuesday that he was certain he could find two party members who would be willing to form a separate party with him.
He said he had handed the party leadership his bill to raise the pensioners budget, and that if it were rejected, he would consider his next move.
