Early elections will not be held on March 7 as hoped, Labor Chairman Amir Peretz announced following his Thursday morning meeting with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
The decision was made to choose another date, since the memorial day for soldiers whose burial places are unknown falls out on March 7 this year.
Most likely, elections will be set for February 28.
