An emergency cabinet meeting was convened on Wednesday night to discuss Israel's next steps in Lebanon, following the murder of seven IDF soldiers and the abduction of two others earlier in the day.
Just a few minutes before the cabinet convened, the security consultations called by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert ended at the Kirya in Tel Aviv. The results of the security meeting were to be presented to the cabinet.
