Events marking 12 years since the murder of former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin began on Tuesday afternoon with the lighting of a remembrance candle at the President's Residence in Jerusalem.
"Another year has passed, the pain has not, the yearning is stronger and what has been happening lately does not help."
Yaakov was referring to Monday's airing of the interrogation tape of Rabin's killer, Yigal Amir, and to recent calls among right-wingers to release the assassin.
