National Union MK Uri Ariel submitted a question to Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch on Wednesday, regarding "police foot-dragging in Silwan." In the question, Ariel contrasted efforts to evict Jewish settlers in Beit Yehonatan in Silwan with the failure to act over the Arab house. He said that there is a court order to remove the Arab family from the synagogue. The Jewish occupants of Beit Yehonatan have not been evicted depite a court order to do so.

In response Ariel said that
if no action is taken in the next two weeks, "we will independently
evict the occupants on the 4th of July and return the property to its
