The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will begin hearing testimonies on Sunday of reservists who served in the Lebanon war, Israel Radio reported Friday.
Since the event was announced by the press, dozens of reservists, many of them officers, have approached the committee in the interests of presenting their testimonies.
The committee has accepted only written testimonies from those who brought up concerns of inadequate weaponry and fighting equipment and faulty tank maintenance while serving.
The reservists complained that the upper military ranks ignored their warnings while in the field.
