Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom was interrupted several times while addressing a Sderot conference on social issues on Wednesday night. Participants repeatedly heckled the minister, slinging derogatory comments at him. "The Likud forgot who voted for it," disrupters shouted. Another man got up and screamed, "How can you look me in the eye?" Labor Chairman Amir Peretz arrived at the meeting and managed to quiet the crowd. On Tuesday night, Finance Minister Ehud Olmert left the conference after being rudely interrupted during his speech.
