Father and son shot, stabbed in Acre criminal feud

Violent crime continues to plague the streets of Israel as a father, 45, and his son, 24, were shot and stabbed in an Acre criminal feud on Wednesday. Both men were taken to a Nahariya hospital in critical condition. Police have launched a manhunt and set up roadblocks in the search for the assailants. Police say the father and son have police records, adding that they were attacked by known criminals who are thought to have feuded with the two. An altercation began when the criminals met the men in an alleyway. The encounter quickly deteriorated when the criminals shot and stabbed the father and son, before entering a waiting black vehicle. Paramedics called to the scene found the men unconsciousness and bleeding from their wounds. Police investigators have taken eye witness testimonies while forensic experts attempted to determine what firearm was used in the attack. No by-standers were injured in the incident.
