Fence protests continue in Bil'in, Beit Sira

The anti-security fence protests that have marked every Friday afternoon for over a year continued this Friday in the Palestinian villages of Beit Sira and Bil'in. Security sources said that two border police members were lightly wounded, and left-wing groups said that some demonstrators had also been wounded. Security forces fired rubber bullets into crowds of stone-throwing demonstrators, and Israeli left-wing activists reported that some participants in the protests had been arrested.
