Fire erupts at Cider Hagalil

A large fire erupted in the Cider Hagalil plant near Kiryat Shmona Monday night.

A large fire erupted in the Cider Hagalil plant near Kiryat Shmona Monday night. Fire fighters have arrived and began attempts to control the flames. A team specializing in handling toxic materials has also been called to the scene to deal with the presence of poisonous ammonia gas in the plant, Army Radio reported. The reasons behind the fire have not yet been determined, but a possibility of arson has been considered.
