Five arrested for allegedly damaging private beach fence by Kinneret

Five people were arrested on Monday for allegedly damaging a fence closing off a private beach on the Kinneret, near Tiberias. According to the five, members of the group Megama Yaroka, they cut the fence because they felt the beach should be open to all vacationers in the area, free of charge. Police requested a remand extension for the suspects.
