A man and woman in their thirties were killed and two people were injured, one of them seriously, in a car accident at the Shavei Shomron Junction in the West Bank on Saturday night.
Magen David Adom teams arrived at the scene and police have launched an investigation into the accident.
Earlier Saturday, two men in their thirties were in a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
The accident, which occurred between Kibbutz Farod and Amirim in the Galilee, was apparently the result of the car trying to carry out a U-turn in a place where such action was forbidden. It hit the motorcycle as it came by from the opposite direction.
The two drivers were killed. Three other passengers in the car were moderately injured, including an infant.
On Friday afternoon a 16-year-old girl was killed in a car accident on Hukok Junction on Route 90 near the Kinneret. Three others were injured in the crash. They were evacuated by helicopter to Tiberias' Poriya Hospital.
An initial police investigation showed the crash occurred when a driver did not obey a sign at the junction and two cars collided head-on.
