Former Palestinian Authority cabinet member Kadoura Fares of Fatah said Wednesday that captured IDF soldier Gilad Shalit was "alive and well," adding however that he had not seen him personally.
Fares was speaking during a panel discussion held in Tel Aviv and sponsored by the Geneva Initiative.
