Former Supreme Court head: Deliberate attempt made to weaken court

"A deliberate attempt is being made to weaken the Supreme Court and, perhaps, even to threaten it in order to influence its decisions and damage its independence," former Supreme Court president Aharon Barak said Wednesday. "The court is not a property belonging to one person or another or one party or another. It is the property of the people and its standing is in danger," Barak told the Herzliya Conference.
