Haifa Police interrogated Sunday a former police officer suspected of holding in his home a missing girl, whom police were searching for throughout Saturday night.
The man said that he found the girl, nine-year-old Wasra abu Jalal, close to his house and invited her inside.
He claimed that he was unaware that the girl had been reported missing, Israel Radio reported.
