The state notified the High Court of Justice on Friday that it had completed the fortification of three schools in the Gaza periphery and would finish the fortification of four more within the next few months, Israel Radio reported.
Students in the other four schools will be temporarily transferred to other educational establishments.
The government said it was making efforts to speed up renovation work in 13 other schools, nine of which already possess protected areas.
