Friedmann, Mazuz meet over Justice Ministry plans

Newly-appointed Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann met on Thursday with Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz to discuss Friedmann's plans for the Justice Ministry once he takes office, Army Radio reported. Friedmann, an Israel Prize laureate and long-time critic of the Supreme Court, was sworn in as justice minister in the Knesset plenum on Wednesday, despite widespread opposition to the appointment.
