Friedmann cancels Thursday's meeting for Supreme Court appointments

Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann on Monday announced the cancellation of Thursday's Judges Election Committee meeting during which new Supreme Court justices were set to be elected.
The cancellation follows fierce opposition from current Supreme Court justices, who claimed that no new appointments should be made during a period of transitional governance.
