Galilee: 2 killed in 3-car collision at Yagur

Two people were killed and two others seriously injured in a three-vehicle collision at Yagur Junction near Haifa early Friday. Two additional people were lightly injured. The accident occurred when one of the cars drove into the Yagur Junction from the direction of the Amakim Junction at excessive speed. The car's driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into two other cars. Both the driver and the passenger in the speeding car were killed. The two dead and two of the injured from another car were trapped in their vehicles while rescuers worked to extract them. Police were reportedly investigating the possibility that the speeding car was participating in a race.
