German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in a historic address to the Knesset on Tuesday, said Germans were filled with shame over the Holocaust, and that she bows her head before the victims of the Nazi genocide. "Israel and Germany will always be uniquely connected by the memory of the Holocaust," she said.
