Girl, 2, in serious condition after nearly drowning off Ashdod coast

A 2-year-old girl was in serious condition on Monday after nearly drowning off the coast of Asdod.
Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived on the scene found the girl without a pulse and not breathing. They performed CPR on her before rushing her to a nearby hospital.
According to reports, the beach does not have a lifeguard, and is mainly used by fishermen.
