Government Employment Agency employees began an open-ended strike on Tuesday in protest of a management decision to carry out unilateral changes in the employment system. The chairman of the workers' union said a worker shortage made it impossible to carry out new assignments. Israel Radio reported that the employment agency's general management said the workers' requests would not be harmed due to the strike.
