Government ministers, who gathered in Sde Boker for a special meeting, approved Vice Premier Shimon Peres's plan to allocate NIS 400 million for the purpose of developing the Negev.
The ministers also approved financial aid to Sderot and the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.
