Gov't can't secure Gaza periphery schools on time

The Prime Minister's Office announced Tuesday that the timeline given by the Supreme Court regarding securing classrooms in Gaza periphery settlements could not be adhered to, Israel Radio said. The scope of the work would entail, among other difficulties, importing 10,000 tons of steel; the PMO said securing schools could take another whole year and as a consequence thousands of pupils would have to go to other schools outside the Gaza periphery area.
