The government unanimously approved on Sunday the establishment of an administration for national service in Israel.
The administration would work in conjunction with the prime minister's office in order to recruit 500 additional volunteers every year for service.
The new volunteers would receive NIS 500 a month, just like regular soldiers, and would be eligible for similar grants and loans upon their release.
