Approximately 30 Green Peace activists clashed with police Thursday morning at the entrance to the National Infrastructures Ministry in Jerusalem, Israel Radio reported.
The activists were protesting against a plan to build a new coal-powered power plant near Ashkelon.
Protesters complained that police officers used excessive violence when they removed protestors from the scene.
The police, on the other hand, said the protestors chained themselves to the entry doors and tried to prevent people from entering the offices.
