Haifa secondary schools to strike on Thursday

Haifa area secondary schools, from grades 7-12, will be closed on Thursday as part of a teachers' strike, negotiations with the Finance Ministry over teachers' salaries hit a dead end, it was reported on Wednesday. The Secondary School Teachers Union also decided to adopt sanctions for schools across the country, including refusing to participate in school trips or any other activities taking place beyond regular school hours.
