IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz was released from Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv on Friday after he arrived at the hospital's emergency room earlier Friday evening suffering from abdominal pain. As soon as the chief of staff arrived at the emergency room, the premises were placed under heavy security. Doctors pronounced Halutz in good health, and he was released. IDF spokeswoman Brig.-Gen. Miri Regev assured Channel 2 that Halutz was "completely fine," and was returning to his duties.
