Hamas: Power cuts to residents, hospitals if no shipments by noon

If Israel does not resume fuel shipments to the Gaza Strip by noon Monday, the power station which supplies 40 percent of the Strip's electricity needs will cease to function, Hamas warned Monday morning, according to an Army Radio report. Residents will experience blackouts, and hospitals will also be without power, Hamas said. Flour supplies will also be exhausted within 48 hours, according to Hamas, whilst crossings between Israel and the Gaza Strip remain closed.
