Hamas says it will stop rocket fire if Israel lets it continue ruling Gaza

Hamas has offered to stop rocket fire if Israel allows it to continue to control the Gaza Strip, European diplomatic sources told Fatah spokesman Jamal Nazzal, Al-Quds al-Arabi reported on Monday. In addition, the London-based newspaper reported that the diplomats updated Nazzal on security coordination meetings between Israel and Hamas. According to the sources, Hamas intends to hold elections in Gaza in which only Hamas members will be allowed to run.
