Former Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh expressed hope Tuesday morning over the possibility of coming to an agreement with Israel to secure the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit.
"If the Israelis think logically and seriously, and take into account the humanitarian aspect and the suffering of Palestinian prisoners, then it is possible to make a deal," Haniyeh said at a press conference following the release of BBC reporter Alan Johnston.
