Haredi schools won't commemorate Herzl's birthday

Monday is the birthday of Theodore Herzl, the father of Zionism. The Education Ministry, which distributes guidelines and materials to schools on how to teach students about Herzl, decided not to require Haredi schools to present the materials, Israel Radio. Haredi schools have rarely been Zionist.
