Some 200 haredim pelted motorists with stones Saturday in Ramat Beit Shemesh, police said.
No one was reported wounded in the early-evening Sabbath protest on Rehov Nahar HaYarden, but one vehicle was damaged by the stones.
Police arrested one man suspected of taking part in the disturbances, and dispersed the rioters.
