Haredim throw rocks at cars in Ramat Beit Shemesh

Some 200 haredim pelted motorists with stones Saturday in Ramat Beit Shemesh, police said. No one was reported wounded in the early-evening Sabbath protest on Rehov Nahar HaYarden, but one vehicle was damaged by the stones. Police arrested one man suspected of taking part in the disturbances, and dispersed the rioters. The area has been the scene of repeated protests over Sabbath violation.
