MK Yoel Hasson (Kadima) announced Tuesday that he was freezing the Peres Bill, which would establish a secret ballot for presidential elections.
Hasson said that he intended to push the bill, but only for the next presidential election.
"I won't be part of this farce," Hasson said. "Petty politics has caused this important bill to become a bone of contention between the candidates, the opposition, and the coalition."
