An indictment was filed against the head of the heart transplant unit at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital, Professor Gideon Oretsky, for breach of trust.
Oretsky allegedly served as a scientific advisor to a private company that was trying to develop a system to help regulate body temperature during operations, while acting as the unit head at the hospital.
He is accused of being both a shareholder and a contracted employee for the company, Israel Radio reported.
