Heavy rains shut down roads, create heavy traffic

Several main roads have been blocked on Sunday morning following the heavy rain that fell throughout the country during the night and morning. The closed routes included lanes and junctions on Geha and Ayalon roads, parts of the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv road, Route 90 near the Dead Sea, and Amiad junction in the north, Israel Radio reported.
