Hebrew University ranks 93rd in world in Times Higher Education survey

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was ranked 93rd in the world by the Times Higher Education survey, which was released this week. The university was ranked 128 in the same survey in 2007. The ratings are based on scores given by experts, numbers of citations in scholarly journals and surveys in the universities faculties. The Technion in Haifa also appeared in the top 200 list, in 109th place, and Tel Aviv University in 114th place. Harvard, Yale, Cambridge and Oxford received the highest ratings.
