Hebron: Police break into contested Hebron home

May 7, 2006 06:48

Border police forces broke into a building outside Hebron's Avraham Avinu neighborhood shortly after 6:00 a.m. Sunday in order to forcibly evacuate three settler families from the building. Settlers inside the building threw paint at the forces. The families, with young children among them, were being evicted following a High Court of Justice decision ordering them out of the building pending a ruling on the legality of their residence there.
