Herut activists attacked in Jaffa for campaign ad

Dozens of Jaffa residents attacked Herut activists Thursday afternoon after the latter posted campaign adds in the city streets. The campaign posters proposed monetary compensation to Arab residents who agreed to leave Israel. It was not yet clear if anyone was injured in the incident. Jaffa, which is situated next to Tel Aviv, has a large Israeli-Arab population.
