Hila Cohen fired from Haifa court for fabrications

The Judges' Selection Committee decided to fire Hila Cohen from her position in the Haifa Magistrate's Court on Thursday evening. She was convicted of fabricating minutes of Haifa Magistrate's Court hearings that never occurred.
The precedent-setting decision was agreed upon unanimously, with each of the nine committee members supporting the ejection.
Cohen's attorney, Avigdor Feldman, said at the start of the committee meeting that if Cohen were dismissed, he would appeal to the High Court of Justice, Army Radio reported.
